Friday 17 July, 10am–12noon at Mullaloo Surf Club
We are thrilled to announce that Denise, owner of Kwik Kopy Osborne Park, will be our guest speaker at our next Coffee & Connect on 17 July, from 10am to 12noon at Mullaloo Surf Club. Denise’s story is a wonderful example of the resilience, reinvention and generosity that our WE Inspire community is all about, and we cannot wait for you to hear it in person.
A Story 40 Years in the Making
Denise has spent more than 40 years in the printing and reprographics industry. She started out as a photographic assistant at a studio in Soho, London, before rising to become Production Manager at a digital printing company with 35 staff that ran 24 hours a day. In 1987 she first came to Perth to set up a local branch of her London company, and on the very day she landed, she met a man named Glen. The pair returned to the UK, married in 1989, and went on to have two children, Charlotte and Nik.
In 2005, Denise and her family made the move to Australia permanently. She spent six and a half years as Production Manager for the previous owner of Kwik Kopy Osborne Park, before taking over ownership herself in December 2015. Since then, she has worked steadily to grow the business and build a five-star reputation founded on honesty, reliability and quality. Her husband Glen joined her full time in 2020, and today daughter Charlotte works alongside them as the business’s Graphic Designer.
What to Expect on the Day
Join us at Mullaloo Surf Club to hear Denise share the highs and lows of her journey, from starting out as a young photographic assistant in London, to relocating across the world, to taking the leap into business ownership. It’s a story of adapting to change, backing yourself, and building something you can be proud of, exactly the kind of honest, real-world insight our members love to take away from a Coffee & Connect.
You may already know Denise’s generosity even if you haven’t met her yet: Kwik Kopy Osborne Park kindly donated the signage you see at every one of our events. It’s a lovely example of the kind of community spirit we can’t wait to celebrate when we welcome her as our guest speaker.
Save the Date
Come along on Friday 17 July, 10am to 12noon, at Mullaloo Surf Club, to connect with fellow entrepreneurial women and hear Denise’s story firsthand. Bring a friend, bring a business card, and bring your questions. We can’t wait to see you there.
