Meet our fabulous October speaker, Leigh Davey, She is the founder of Pork Pies & the Perfect Pickle, a British comfort food brand based in Perth, Western Australia. Born in Bristol and now a proud expat, she grew up surrounded by traditional British food culture, and she has spent over a decade bringing it to Australian tables.

In 2012 Leigh Davey launched The Yorkshireman's Pie bakery, which went on to supply 33 IGA stores across WA. Today her brand includes a 260-page cookbook, a range of condiments and preserves, giftable pantry products, market stalls and a growing online community, all with a warm, honest, no-nonsense spirit.

Leigh speaks from experience about building a business from the kitchen table, starting again with courage, and turning heritage and family recipes into a living brand. She believes food is how we belong, and she'll leave you hungry in more ways than one.
