Meet the Board - August We Inspire Spotlight

WE Inspire is a community for women — passionate, creative, thinking women who have felt or seen a gap and instinctively known that the right service or product could make a positive, productive change in the world. What people don't always see is that WE Inspire itself runs entirely on that same spirit. Every coffee and connect, every speaker morning, every event on the calendar happens because seven women volunteer their time on our board, alongside running their own businesses.

This month, we want you to get to know the women behind the scenes — who they are, what they do, and how they help make WE Inspire the community it is.

Laura McLaughlin  |  Chair

Laura leads our board with the same clarity and care she brings to Bizwise Business Solutions, where she supports business owners to work smarter. As Chair, she keeps WE Inspire moving forward, holding the big picture while making sure every member feels part of the plan.

Helen Wilson  |  Secretary

Helen is the founder of Scentarama, filling homes and offices with beautifully scented candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and room sprays. As Secretary, she keeps our board organised and on track — the quiet engine room behind our minutes, meetings and paperwork.

Kayuri Tank  |  Treasurer

Kayuri brings her numbers know-how from Taxatic straight to the WE Inspire books. As Treasurer, she keeps our finances transparent and healthy, so the board can keep investing in events and opportunities that serve our members.

Debbie Weetman  |  Social Media & Marketing

Debbie runs Your Colours, and brings that same eye for what works to WE Inspire's socials and marketing. She's the reason you see our events, our members and our community show up so warmly online.

Tracy Murray  |  Events Co-ordinator

Known to many as The Glasses Lady, Tracy has an eye for detail that translates perfectly into planning our coffee and connects and speaker events. As Events Co-ordinator, she's often the friendly face making sure everything — and everyone — comes together on the day.

Sonja Kay  |  Events Co-ordinator

Sonja runs Personal Confidante, supporting others with the kind of warmth and discretion that makes people feel truly heard. As Events Co-ordinator, she brings that same care to planning our coffee and connects and speaker mornings.

Philippa (Pip) Page  |  Events Co-ordinator

Pip is a Shaklee Consultant, passionate about helping others live well. On the board, she channels that same passion into planning events members genuinely look forward to — and into making newcomers feel instantly welcome.
